Home gym equipment is often the heaviest and most awkward thing in a house move, and standard removal crews may decline it or charge extra. A home treadmill typically weighs around 80kg to 150kg, a multi-gym with a weight stack can be well over 150kg, and a rack with a full set of plates and dumbbells adds hundreds of kilograms more. Narrow stairs, tight turns and garden paths make it harder still.
Moving it safely usually means removing consoles, weight stacks and attachments, folding or tipping treadmills in the right way, and carrying frames with proper handling kit. At the new home, each piece is rebuilt and levelled, belts and cables checked, and treadmills tested at speed. Moving a home gym into a garden room or upstairs bedroom needs a check of the route and the floor first.
